A Note About Our Closure & Limited Inventory

After nine incredible years, I’ve made the difficult decision to close Hungry Bird Eats.

This company has truly been my baby. What started as a small idea grew into something far bigger than I ever imagined—thanks to your support. Along the way, we navigated kitchen closures, rebuilding from scratch, supply chain challenges, COVID, and the many ups and downs of running a small food business.

One of the biggest challenges we’ve faced in recent years has been our production space. The building we operate from has been up for sale for some time, and our lease could only be renewed six months at a time, with no long-term security. With production lead times stretching several months out, it became increasingly risky to plan ahead or carry large amounts of inventory. That uncertainty ultimately made it impossible to continue responsibly.

We officially ended production on December 31st. In the months leading up to that date, we worked at full capacity to make as much product as we safely and thoughtfully could. Because of this, what you see available now is all that remains.

Inventory is selling out faster than expected, and once an item is gone, it will not be restocked. If you don’t see a product listed, it means it has already sold out.

While this chapter is coming to a close, I am incredibly proud of what we built together—from award-winning products to sending orders to customers in every single state. None of this would have been possible without you.

Thank you for supporting Hungry Bird Eats, for sharing our products with friends and family, and for being part of this journey from beginning to end. It has meant more than I can ever put into words.
